TURNING OFF POP-UP BLOCKERS

You can allow all pop-ups by disabling the pop-up blocker. Follow these steps:

1.  Click the Chrome menu

2.  Select Settings.

3.  Click Show advanced settings.

4.  In the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button.

5.  In the "Pop-ups" section, select "Allow all sites to show pop-ups." Customize permissions for specific websites by clicking Manage exceptions.

To access the pop-up blocker settings:

1.  At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options

2.  Select the Content panel.

3.  In the content panel:

  • Block pop-up windows: Un-check this to disable the pop-up blocker altogether.

  • Exceptions: This is a list of sites that you want to allow to display pop-ups.

  • The dialog has the following choices:

    • Allow: Click this to add a website to the exceptions list.

    • Remove Site: Click this to remove a website from the exceptions list.

    • Remove All Sites: Click this to remove all of the websites in the

      exceptions list.

1.  Open Internet Explorer for the desktop.

2.  Tap or click the Tools button, and then tap or click Internet options.

3.  On the Privacy tab, under Pop-up Blocker, select Turn off Pop-up Blocker check box, and then tap or click OK.

How to disable the pop-up blocker in the Apple Safari web browser.

1. Windows users select Edit > Preferences. Mac users click Safari > Preferences.

2. Click on Security at the top of the window.

3. Un-check the box Block pop-up windows to disable this feature.

How to Turn-Off the Pop-Up Blocker on the iPad Safari

1.  Open the “Settings” menu on your Home Screen

2.  Tap the “Safari” tab on the Settings page. The Safari preferences screen loads.

3.  Scroll down the page to the Security section.

4.  Slide the "Block Pop-Ups" switch to the "Off" position.

5.  Press the "Home" button to return to your Home screen.

Disabling Safari's Pop-up blockers on an iPhone (also works for iPads and iPods) To disable pop-up blocking in Safari only while using WebSked, select the "Settings" icon on the iPhone's main screen, then select "Safari" from the menu list, as shown.

On the next list that appears, select "Block Pop-ups" and set to OFF, as shown.

Opera's pop-up blocker is integrated into the browser, much like the pop-up blocker for Internet Explorer. To disable the pop-up blocker:

1.  From the Tools menu, select the Preferences option. The following window will appear:

2.  Click on the Windows option in the left-hand list in the window.

3.  Select the Open all pop-ups option in the Pop-ups list.

4.  Click the OK button to close the window.

Once this is done, then you should be able to use the online system properly. Once you are finished using the online system, you can go back into the above window again to turn on the pop-up blocker.
